Samantha & Jamie

Blackpool, UK

Jamie and Samantha chose us for their wedding in May 2017, with the ceremony held in the beautiful All Hallows Bispham Church and the reception at Ribby Hall in Blackpool. They wanted a relaxed photography and videography style for their big day with influences from a number of top photographers.
Our two person crew drove up from Nottingham to the bride’s home to document her bridal prep. After the videographer captured the bridal prep, he headed over to the groom’s home to capture the groom prep. They then travelled to the church to capture the preparations early before the guest arrival.

With the bride’s arrival at the church, the wedding started off with a procession through the gardens of the church. During the ceremony the photographer and videographer silently captured the beautiful ceremony. No flash photography was allowed during the ceremony, but this wasn’t too difficult a challenge for us to capture as we have access to some of the best equipment currently on the market. Allowing us to capture all the important details effortlessly.

After the ceremony, the guests threw rose petals at the happy couple outside. The photographer then arranged all the guests and the newlyweds for a group formal photo. We then travelled to the second location, Ribby Hall.

Once everyone had arrived it was time for us to cover the rest of the family formal photos in a lovely green space at Ribby Hall. In addition to this, the children played and ran around joyously and our team captured those special moments. Once this was finished it was time for the guests to sit at the reception and welcome the couple to the top table. After many emotional speeches and a fantastic dinner, we moved to the dance floor where it was time to cut the cake.

Finally, it was time to grab the newlyweds for a bridal photoshoot in the lovely gardens around a small lake in the golden light of sunset. Our team were able to capture some stunning imagery here. The couple were a little nervous at first, so to lighten the mood and set them at ease we got them do some fun poses, even had a tug of war with the bouquet.
We then returned to the reception to capture the couple’s first dance and wind down from a busy yet enjoyable day.

Overall the day was a big success, with our clients thrilled with the photos and the way we captured their special day. The groom has told us Samantha has been watching the video on repeat and all her family and friends are amazed with the quality of the footage.
