Our Approach
Pre Wedding Consultation Meeting – Out first opportunity to meet you before your wedding. We will run through items like logistics of the day, any special features you want highlighted and your chosen style of photography.
Complimentary Photoshoot – This is our first opportunity to work with you and allows you to get used to working with your photographer. We can identify a creative style you love, which we can then replicate on the day itself. Additionally, we can plan, and potentially practice, any complex or creative shots. This helps your wedding day run as smoothly as possible and minimises the time spent on the photos so you can spend more time with your guests. Posing for photos can be a little daunting but your photographer will always support you with positioning and direction.
On-site Logistics – We will plan this with you during the consultation meeting, with the aim to maximise our time with you on the day. For events with multiple locations, we will need to ensure travel between venues is planned with enough time to set up key equipment on arrival. Our aim is to be as discreet as possible and we always want to keep the time spent taking planned and posed photos to a minimum. This is normally supported by the bridal team, who we like to be introduced to as they can help locate various key family members and friends who you may want planned photographs with.
Photographic Equipment – We use a whole variety of equipment in order to capture the best possible photos on the day. These include different types of cameras for certain styles, off camera flashes, tripods and monopods as well as different focal length lenses including zooms and primes.
Editing – The engagement photoshoot images are usually delivered in full at our earliest convenience before the wedding day. The photos from the wedding are delivered in two sets; an initial highlights selection and then the full set of photos are delivered once we have had time to edit them all properly. Once you have received the highlights album you can feedback on style and editing preferences, ready for the delivery of the full album.
