Miriam and Jonny really did have the most unique setting for their wedding. They chose Lac de Montriond in the Chablais Alps region of France for their ceremony and then a mountain restaurant at 1725 metres for the celebrations afterwards.

Of course, these unusual conditions do sometimes come with complications but we loved covering this wedding and the unique locations, and varied weather, just added to the excitement of the day.

Once the ceremony at the lake was over the couple requested if their couples shoot could be done on the slopes, whilst skiing. Sam, one of our directors, was more than happy to have a few runs with them to get the ultimate wedding action shot.

It is not every day you get to see a sunset at 1725 metres above sea level, and the mountain style restaurant certainly delivered for the most beautiful final shots of the day, bringing their once in a lifetime day to a close.
