Nic and Rob got married on a beautiful July day in 2021. The wedding took place at Hilltop Barn in Poynton, Cheshire, with views across Manchester to the East, and Liverpool to the West.

The day consisted of a very relaxed ceremony which took place in the garden, a drinks reception held outside in front of the sheep fields, and then a rustic style meal in the barn, with dancing into the early hours. 

For their special day, we provided wedding photography. Nic and Rob requested that the majority of their photos were to be candid and natural, rather than planned or staged. They wanted an authentic portrayal of the day and didn’t want to spend too long taking photos. For their couples shoot, we took a stroll into the sheep fields and despite the odd pile of cow pat, captured some wonderfully fun and authentic moments. We certainly had fun whilst doing it!

The evening finished off with the most amazing sunset over the northern cities and, of course, we couldn’t resist making the most of it.
